For this project, I compiled pescatarian recipes into a new cookbook that incorporates both Scottish and Asian foods. I worked with a partner for this project; therefore, we pulled our backgrounds into this project to use as guidelines for our project. I have Asian heritage while she has a Scottish background. The book is pescatarian due to my diet choices. After this, a three-course meal was created to bring together each background and create a balanced course that represented us both.

PERSONAL NOTESFor a more personalized recipe that made this cookbook unique to me was that I added recipe notes about the dishes that were cooked. The notes are specific to what I know about the dishes based on experience and common knowledge.

EXPERIENCE
After concluding this project I walked away with a better mindset of knowing my heritage and dishes that are created within the continent of Asia. I also had a lot of fun cooking although it was very time-consuming. I thought this also showed my ability to stay organized because there had to be a list and a timeline to work by due to the multiple ingredients and the time slot allowed for the freshness. In result of this, there was a crunch time to prepare, cook, and execute this part of the project. I enjoyed being able to also find more unique recipes I could essentially make that fit my pescatarian diet. I am satisfied with this project and what was done within the month time frame I had to complete it.
