For my fourth project, I sewed on embroidery patches onto clothing that would follow a plot of a story that I also wrote. The story, Flowers Aren't For Everyone, is about a bird named Lily, a tiger named Bleu, and a snake called Lykin. To go along with the English portion of the project, I also created a character map to explain, the intentions, personality, their role in the story and how they are represented in the character map.
For the art portion of the project I sewed on and ironed on embroidery patches that follow the plot of the story and the character map. I sewed patches on three shirts, one jean jacket, and a pair of jeans. Lily is on the white shirt with the flower on the back of the shirt to represent that she charishs the flowers, but they are out of reach. Bleu is on the grey shirt twice because the other characters in the story see two sides of him. Lykin is on the blue shirt in the form of a small patch and he is also on the jean jacket in a bigger size because he is a powerful character in the understanding that he can do what he wants without consequence, but he's on the blue shirt in the form of a small patch because his actions make him a small person.
