Social Studies
I looked at many websites, videos, and books to collect information on dance psychology. I organized my research by putting the citation, then the key points from the text, and lastly writing a summary of my thoughts. You can see I have many sources that I pulled information from. I also conducted a survey asking people question about dance. The survey had a range of people filling it out. the survey further proved my findings in my research.
English
Using my research, I created a speech on the psychology of dance. I started off by watching ted talk videos to fully grasp how my script should be written. Then I started writing my script. I had it edited by a handful of people so it would be perfect. After tons of revising, it was time to memorize my speech. I spent countless hours just saying it over and over to myself. I planned a time for people to sign up to listen, but only two people showed up. I took advantage of this time and had a practice run. The two people who showed up gave me some good feedback that I used for the future. The next week I presented to a class of a past teacher. I had a friend with lots of camera experience film my speech. It went wonderfully. Below is the video of my presentation. I had the class fill out a survey that provided me with feedback on my speech.

Art
Since I was looking at how dance is in everyday life, I wanted to show that through my art. There is a photographer named Jordan Matter. He does a collection of photos called Dancers Among Us. In these photos he takes picture of dancers in everyday situations. I did my own version of this. I tried getting across this whole idea that dance is in our everyday life and it is apart of all of us.
