My project 1 was about human behavior and the study of how people interact, react to certain thing. Also in my Project 1 I looked at hand gestures and body language throughout out the world.
What I did for english..? |
In the early stages of English I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do. I knew I was planning on interviewing a few people like the chid development teacher and the psychology. Overtime I decided to log my peers in ClC, have a interview with Miss Fisher, go observe the preschool class in our school and then write what I learned after.
I logged my ClC for about a week at a time. I found with my ClC that basically the same people talk to each other. My ClC peers were very repetitive, very loud and social. I made a time log and printed it out.

What I did for history..? |
For History I studied body languages and hand gestures around the world and how they compare to the ones we have here in the U.S. I decided to look at the body languages and hand gesture in Spain,China,France and Africa. While researching I found a lot of gestures that were the same but meant something different. I found it interesting because what if someone were to actually travel to one of these places. You cant just throw up hand gesture that may be used in the U.S because they may mean something bad in the area travel to.
So with my information I put it on a board which basically told what I found for this region. I also wrote a short piece on how the gestures and body languages of that certain region compared to the U.S

What I did for art..? |
So because my project was the study of how people react, interact I decide to look into what in brain makes a person react the way they do for more understanding on the topic. But, for a art project I decided to paint what the brain looks like when your happy or sad. In my artwork, I used really bright colors and instead of actually drawling a brain i took shape from the pictures I found and eventually traced them on a board.
