Jeep
What is it about? For project 4, I worked with another student to create a collage of paintings done by artists from our school including the teachers. The original picture is a picture of my dads Jeep. We took that picture and scaled it up to a larger size and cut it into 12 different pieces. We then asked a few different people to fill out a pre-painting question. Then they were allowed to paint their portion of the painting with an assigned emotion. The emotions were chosen by my partner and I, we made them have to do with feelings about jeeps. After they were finished painting, we asked them to fill out a post-painting response.

This is what the finished painting looked like with all of the collaged pieces put together.

What did we ask?Our pre-painting reflection was:
"Which colors do you have in mind, if any? How do you think the color reflects to the emotion?" Our post-painting reflection was: "Did you find it challenging to express the emotion? How do you view that emotion and what do you associate with it?" |
