What does it take to be a dream chaser?
Why is that as a child the careers you aspire to have change as you mature. Your skills sharpen and become more aware of your strengths and weaknesses but if asked why you wouldn't pursue that childhood dream it never met with answers of honing a better skill. We often fall on the idea that our aspirations were merely dreams, not realistic goals we should chase in our lives.
I researched four musicians, all of which peaked my interest in different ways. One artist dropped out of high school at age seventeen and moved to a different country to pursue a dream. Another one grew up in the most heavily prostituted and violent area in New York city. A boy experienced two near death experiences and used that as a drive, not halt in a music career, and one young man died because of his career. All four spoke form many different lives but they all had one thing in common. None of them pursued music for the sake of them loving the art. Each person had an underlying, bigger than life meaning that fulfills them.
